This double garage was designed for a very small angular shaped block of land in Clare Street New Town, Tasmania. The client required room for 2 cars, 1 motorbike & a workshop area. Security & natural light was a priority. We achieved this by using glass blocks in aluminium frames as highlight windows & by installing clear laserlite sheet panels in the roof. Walls are rendered solid concrete blockwork. The design is modern so that there is a distinct differentiation between the classic double brick house & the new garage. Structural design was by Aldanmark Engineers P/L.
